I See You Never by Ray Bradbury From The New Yorker:ABSTRACT: Mr. Ramirez had come from Mexico to be a boarder at Mrs. O'Brian's house in Los Angeles. He worked in a factory, saved some money and enjoyed life very much indeed.

 Unfortunately he only had a temporary visa and when the police caught up with him he was forced to leave. Mrs. O'Brian realized that she would never see him again.
